DAYS spoilers made us think Xander was about to learn the truth when a delirious Sarah made him promise to take care of “our girl.” She, of course, walked it back when she came to, and only announced that she’d be naming her and Rex’s — did you hear that, Xander? Her and Rex’s — daughter, after Xander’s uncle, Victor.

But we know how things work in Salem. Eventually, Xander (Paul Telfer) is destined to figure out that he is little Victoria’s daddy. And, once he does, will he ever forgive Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) for her lies? And will he still want a life with his ex-wife and new baby mama?

Xander and Sarah are meant to be. We know it. Xander knows it. Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) knows it. Rex (Kyle Lowder) knows it. Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) knows it. Even Sarah knows it, which is why she works hard to deny the obvious.
She says she wants to keep precious Baby Vicky safe from her periodically felonious papa. But what Sarah really wants to protect is her precious heart. She knows that if Xander knew he was Victoria’s father, he’d want to be a part of his daughter’s life. And if he’s a part of her daughter’s life, then he’ll have to be a part of Sarah’s life. At which point, resistance will be futile.
DAYS Spoilers: Protect Yourself
The only thing currently keeping Sarah from throwing herself back into Xander’s arms is her figuring that once he finds out she lied to him, he’ll be so furious he won’t want her. Phew…that was a close one.
But Xander is way too far gone to let a little thing like that stop him. Once he finds out he’s a dad, he’ll be more delighted than anything else. He’ll want Victoria, and he’ll want Sarah, too. And she won’t be able to resist.
