Days Spoilers Speculation: Philip Takes His Medicine

DAYS spoilers are sending mixed signals about Philip’s fate. On the one hand, he committed a crime. And he admitted as much to Brady. On the other hand, Chloe instantly bought his “I was sick and sad” excuse. Of course, Kate would obviously prefer to protect her baby boy at all costs.

DAYS Spoilers Speculation

And with Victor (John Aniston) dead, Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) might be coming into a small fortune. That’s awfully handy when you wish to circumvent the law. Or at least to pay Belle (Martha Madison) for doing it for you. So, will Philip ever pay for what he did to Brady (Eric Martsolf)?

Days of our Lives: Crimes of Passion

Philip made it look like Brady had killed him. Brady faced life in prison. The only reason he got out of it was because Victor and Kate (Lauren Koslow) spirited Philip out of town and withdrew the paperwork declaring him dead.

It was hard to prosecute Philip when no one could find him. But now he’s back in Salem. Supposedly it was up to Brady to decide what he should do, and he’s decided not to press charges. But is it really that simple? A lot of hours at the Salem Police Department went into investigating his case. Melinda (Tina Huang) may decide to prosecute anyway.

DAYS: Magic Force Field

Alas, the law — and logic — doesn’t work the same in Salem as it does in the rest of the country. Now that Paulina (Jackée Harry) is the mayor, she seems to think that gives her permission to do whatever she wants. If she feels like setting Philip free, she will. After all, Kate didn’t do anything worse than what Paulina did to protect her baby girl. And Paulina has never admitted she did anything wrong.

DAYS Spoilers: Shrink Wrap

Philip spent a year in a mental hospital. Paulina will likely decide he’s suffered enough. If this does go to trial, expect Paulina to swoop in with a magic wand and pronounce Philip is free with time served. That should earn a nice, generous contribution from Kate for Paulina’s — sorry, sorry, Abe’s (James Reynolds) reelection; remember, she’s doing this all for Abe.
