Janelle Brown from Sister Wives accused Kody Brown of always being furious. Sister Wives season 18 recently kicked off in August 2023. It features polygamous patriarch Kody facing separation issues with Christine, Meri, and Janelle. The latest episode focused on Christine visiting the Brown family in Arizona. She also met with her former husband but didn’t know how to feel about it. The episode highlighted that Janelle was also contemplating divorcing Kody, wanting to be independent like her friend Christine.
A new preview clip from Sister Wives season 18 (via ET) showcases Janelle opening up to Christine about her relationship status with Kody.

The 54-year-old Utah woman shares how their kids are leaving, and she doesn’t have much in common with her husband. She says, “He’s getting angrier and angrier, and he’s getting sharper and sharper and more black and white with me.” Janelle claims that while she isn’t “getting divorced” or “walking away,” she has no other options. The mom of six adds, “It’s like I don’t know what to do,” and Christine responds, “I’m so sorry.”

Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Doesn’t Know Who Kody Is Anymore

Janelle also talks about how she feels regarding the present-day Kody, adding, “I don’t even know who this guy is anymore. I just don’t see that it is really worth the work.” The Sister Wives cast member has a moment of self-realization in the preview clip. She discusses being unsettled and realizes it was all because of her husband. Janelle shares how things are simply normal with Christine and her kids. She implies that the same isn’t true for the other part of her life, which includes Kody, Robyn, and Meri.

Sister Wives viewers have seen Kody change over the last 10 years. Therefore, it’s great that Janelle has also realized the same and wants to evaluate her relationship. The 54-year-old reality star deserves a happy and relaxed life. She is a middle-aged grandmother and needs a good partner. Janelle has worked to keep things together but never received the same respect. When Kody began spending most of his time with Robyn, he made it obvious that he didn’t care much about Janelle. He forced his wife to wonder if she belonged in the plural marriage.

The Brown family’s “civil war” situation suggests that Kody can’t handle being polygamous anymore. He has become cranky and has no energy to deal with family drama. Therefore, the best outcome for him is to settle down with Robyn. He must let go of his first three wives and stop blaming them for wanting to break up. He should forgive Christine for divorcing him and do the same for Meri and Janelle. The Sister Wives star can only have a happy ending if he gives up on his broken relationships.

Sister Wives airs Sundays at 10 p.m. EDT on TLC.
