In her room, Sally (Courtney Hope) and Nick (Joshua Morrow) discussed Victor’s offer, and Nick wasn’t quite sure his father had the right motives. Later, Sally saw Adam at Crimson Lights, and he also didn’t seem so sure about Victor’s motives for offering Sally a job with Newman Enterprises.

Sally told Adam that Coco and Grams thought she should be less hard on him since they’d both lost their daughter. Adam appreciated that, but Sally let him know they weren’t quite friends again just yet. When Nick came in, Sally let him and Adam know she’d decided to take Victor up on his offer since she felt it was the best thing for her career.

Victor (Eric Braeden) had a video call with Jill (Jess Walton), and he let her know that he’d offered Sally a position. Jill reminded him that he didn’t trust Sally, but Victor assured her he knew what he was doing, keeping the woman closer to his family. He’d also hired somebody else to take over the job Sally had been doing for Chancellor-Winters.

Later, Nate (Sean Dominic) visited Victor, and The Mustache let Nate know that he trusted him more than Nick did. However, Victor also reminded Nate that only a Newman would ever run Newman Enterprises, so he told the one-time doctor not to get too comfortable behind the desk while Victoria and Nikki were gone.

Young and the Restless Recap: Making Moves

Earlier, Audra (Zuleyka Silver) brought Nate his suit to his suite at the GCAC. They talked business for a while. Later, after Nate visited Victor, he updated Audra that Victor had warned him not to get too comfortable running things. Audra encouraged Nate to make things official ASAP with Victoria.

Nick stopped by Newman Enterprises, and he wasn’t thrilled to see Nate sitting in the big chair. Nick blamed Nate for stepping on him to get to his new position at Newman. However, Nate told Nick to leave him alone and focus on the job that Victor and Victoria wanted him to do.

Later, at the GCAC, Billy (Jason Thompson) ran into Nate after Nate had talked with Victoria. They argued back and forth about her. Billy claimed he’d always look after the mother of his children, but Nate said Billy must not know Victoria if he thought she needed coddling.

Y&R Recap: A Family Plan

At the Abbott mansion, Jack (Peter Bergman), Diane (Susan Walters), and Billy discussed the situation with Ashley. Diane explained her plan to use Billy to lure Ashley into a false sense of security, and it involved having a public fight.

Jack wasn’t excited about using his brother, but Billy thought the whole thing could work. He could get inside the company and destroy it from the inside. Ultimately, they all agreed to move forward with the plan, and Billy said he’d let them know where he thought their big argument should take place.

After Billy left, Jack and Diane talked about their future. She noted that Harrison was excited about their wedding. Jack had an idea. He wanted to go to City Hall and get married right then to prove to everybody that nothing could bring them down.
