Phyllis Turns The Tables On Jeremy, Will He Kill Her After All For Her Betrayal?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that after Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) turns the tables on Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) he’ll start to worry. He finds her having left their hotel room but not having used her plane ticket and he’ll naturally think she’s going to break their arrangement-might he kill her anyway?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers At Her Own Funeral

Phyllis showed up at her own funeral, dressed like one of the wait staff in a dark brown wig and black hat, and glasses. She had seen her own obituary posted online and that her daughter, Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) was hosting. She couldn’t stay away – perhaps a mixture of curiosity of what her children might say about her now that she’s “gone” and guilt.

She had basically estranged her children from herself with her over the top hatred of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) even though now she may find out Summer suspects Diane. As for her son Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and son-in-law Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) they are totally blaming Jeremy for Phyllis’ murder.

Y & R Spoilers – Jeremy Stark Doesn’t Want To Go Back To Prison

As for Jeremy, he doesn’t want to go back to prison, even though Daniel especially finds the sudden marriage suspicious. When it’s discovered Jeremy got at least half of her money, which Phyllis originally left to him and Summer, that’s just putting the spotlight on Jeremy anyway. Phyllis herself could be arrested for fraud and Jeremy would just go straight back to prison for fraud, obstruction of justice and possibly destruction of the ambulance. Jeremy will easily think the only way out of this, suspecting Phyllis is going to flip on him now, is to kill her and destroy the evidence of the real kill. He already ensured that if the bottle of self-planted strychnine was found in his hotel room it would show Diane bought it, anticipating Chance Chancellor’s (Conner Floyd) next move.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Phyllis Summers’ Best Bet Is To Flip

If Phyllis wants to live, her best bet is to flip on Jeremy and confess to the whole plan, and accuse him of drugging her into compliance. After all, there was that strange behavior leading up to her collapse and “death” even before she passed out on the floor of the Genoa City Athletic Club. She had been drinking heavily, but heavily enough to nearly get killed out in a busy street, or did Jeremy spike her drink and set up that “rescue”?

Up until that time she didn’t trust him any further than she could throw him, and it’s not like Phyllis is an expert con woman. She’s pulled off a few cons in her time, but out-conning a con may not really have been in her wheelhouse!
