The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) could find herself battling a serious case of remorse. Y&R fans know Phyllis was driven to her breaking point since she felt like everyone had turned against her – even her own children.
Phyllis was tired of being blamed for everything when Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) constantly got a pass, so she agreed to Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) plan. Unfortunately, Phyllis may have second thoughts in the aftermath of her faked demise.
The plan was probably for Phyllis to change her identity and create a new life for herself – much like Diane did when she fled Genoa City and became Taylor Jensen. However, Phyllis isn’t the type of person who’ll just bail without seeing the results of her handiwork.
What happens if Phyllis spies on Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) and hears her wishing she had one more chance to make things right? Summer may cry over Phyllis not knowing how much she loved her and tug at her eavesdropping mother’s heartstrings.
Meanwhile, Daniel Romalotti Jr.’s (Michael Graziadei) anger will consume him and really send him off the rails. There’s a chance Daniel will lose the gaming platform and his chance at a reunion with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) due to his downward spiral.
Daniel could even get himself arrested since he’ll apparently go after revenge on Jeremy. Phyllis may also find herself worrying about what Jeremy might do to Daniel in retaliation. In the end, Phyllis may see that she’s destroyed her children’s lives and want to call the whole thing off.
Perhaps Phyllis will let Jeremy know she intends to abandon ship and expose the fact that she’s alive. Even if Phyllis suggests she can come up with a bogus explanation and keep Jeremy’s name out of it, he may think it’s too risky.
Jeremy warned Phyllis that there’d be no going back and needed her to be certain she could go through with this. If Phyllis tries to go back on her word, Jeremy may take drastic action to stop her from blabbing.
Since Jeremy wants Diane to be framed and hopes to avoid landing back in prison, he may hold Phyllis captive. That could leave Phyllis in real trouble since everyone will think she’s dead and will have no reason to look for her!
