Married At First Sight Bride Carina Mirabile Cuts A Low-Key Figure In Activewear As She Is Spotted For The First Time After That Door-Punching Scandal

Carina Mirabile was seen in public for the first time following the shocking on-screen moment where groom Paul Antoine punched a hole in a door after an explosive argument.

The Married At First Sight bride, 31, appeared to be in high spirits as she strolled through a Sydney shopping precinct.

She dressed casually but stylishly in a black crop top and fitted brown leggings as she headed out for a walk on October 5.

She had a black sweater draped over her shoulders and sported oversized headphones, sipping a takeaway drink as she scrolled through her phone.

Her relaxed demeanour starkly contrasted the chaos that erupted on-screen this week when Paul lost his temper during a heated disagreement.

The digital marketing manager maintained her composure as she made her way through the city, seemingly unfazed by the controversy unfolding on the show.

At one point, she appeared deep in thought while listening to music, and at another, she animatedly gestured while on a call.

Carina’s outing comes after Paul’s behaviour was slammed by viewers and MAFS experts John Aiken, Mel Schilling, and Alessandra Rampolla, who condemned his actions as ‘unacceptable.’

The shocking moment aired during Wednesday night’s episode, where tensions boiled over after Carina casually revealed she had previously been intimate with a well-known rapper.

Paul took offence to the revelation, and what started as an awkward conversation quickly escalated into a furious confrontation.

Paul later admitted on camera that he ‘completely lost’ his composure, claiming he needed space but wasn’t given it.

He attempted to justify his actions by subtly blaming Carina, saying, ‘She couldn’t give me my space, and I just absolutely lost it… ended up punching a hole in the wall.’

The FIFO worker broke down the next morning, apologising profusely to his bride.

However, their discussion about the night’s events quickly turned sour, with Carina calling him ‘dramatic’ and expressing frustration over his version of events.

Despite the shocking altercation, Carina insisted she was not giving up on her TV husband, expressing hope that he would make amends for his actions.

With calls for Paul to be removed from the show mounting, it remains to be seen how their relationship will unfold in the coming weeks.

Carina has spoken out in defence of fellow contestant Paul after he faced intense criticism during Sunday night’s dramatic Commitment Ceremony.

Paul, 30, a strength and conditioning coach from Perth was called out by the relationship experts over concerns about his behaviour in his on-screen marriage.

The tense session saw him confronted with accusations that sparked backlash from viewers.

However, Carina has now come to his defence, insisting he is being unfairly portrayed on the reality series.

In a statement to Daily Mail Australia, she dismissed the criticism, saying: ‘Like, I feel like he’s 100% not a DV person and he is a good human and egg and big heart.

‘Him and I are so similar and just naive with a YES YES mentality… I want people to know that’s not him’.

She also reassured fans that production had provided adequate support for all contestants.

‘If I felt unsafe, I would have walked away, but production implemented good duty of care and regulations/advice and offered us both all the help we needed and still do – you know!’

Paul has yet to respond to the controversy, but Carina’s statement suggests there may be more to the situation than what has been aired on television.

Married At First Sight continues Sunday at 7pm on Channel Nine.
