Married At First Sight lovebirds Dave Hand and Jamie Marinos are proof that opposites really do attract – especially in the height department.
The couple, who are currently starring season 12 of the hit reality show, were pictured last year running errands in Sydney while showing off their extreme height difference.
Jamie, 28, wore a black matching activewear set, with a skimpy sports bra, a pair of mini gym shorts and New Balance 9060 sneakers, which retail for $230.
The reality TV star left little to the imagination as she showed off her killer abs and ample cleavage in the revealing workout gear while carrying a bunch of shopping bags.
Dave, 36, sported a black Stussy singlet, as well as a pair of Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars and a green Air Jordan hat.
The groom could be seen listening to music on his Apple Airpods while carrying a filled-to-the-brim box.
Jamie recently revealed candid details on her relationship with husband Dave, particularly what goes on in the bedroom.
While some MAFS couples threw themselves into the physical side of their relationships during Intimacy Week, Jamie and Dave took things at their own pace.
‘We were only like a week into having sex at that point. We did wait to get to know each other,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.
‘Me and Dave were both very adamant to build an emotional connection and get to know each other first.’
But the 28-year-old marketing manager could not resist slipping in a cheeky remark when asked about how things were going in the bedroom.
‘The job got done. Everyone was happy at the end of it,’ she quipped.
It’s clear that Jamie and Dave are one of the season’s strongest pairings as many other marriages quickly crumbled.
Jamie has made a name for herself as one of the most outspoken brides in the experiment, and her dinner party showdown with Tim Gromie was no exception.
‘Dinner party last week, I went all out, came for bloody Tim,’ she declared.
While their confrontation received plenty of air time, Jamie revealed that it was Dave who took the lead, confronting Tim for making inappropriate remarks about his bride Katie Johnstone.
‘It was definitely on Dave to bring it up and confront it. Because there were comments that were made that did not sit well with him,’ she explained.
And while Jamie relished a fiery debate, she said watching Dave take a stand was a proud moment for her.
‘It was nice to see Dave stand up and defend women. That’s obviously something that’s very attractive,’ she said.
With every season of MAFS, the same question is asked – are contestants actually looking for love, or just chasing fame?
Jamie acknowledged that there’s mixed motivations.
‘Unfortunately, the power of social media and knowing how advantageous it is to go on reality television… you’re going to get a mixed bag,’ she said.
However, she insisted that she came in with genuine intentions to find a man.
‘I honestly came on thinking I’m going to have it all. That’s the mentality I had,’ she revealed.
For Jamie, finding love wasn’t just a possibility – it was a priority.
‘I wanted to have babies yesterday, so I thought, why not take that risk and walk out with the man that is going to be the father of my children?’ she admitted.
