Lala Kent called out Tom Sandoval’s castmates on The Traitors for “making fun of him” and “clowning on him” over a nursery rhyme challenge. The 34-year-old, who recently gave birth to her second child, said Tom “cannot win” no matter “what comes out of his mouth.”
Nearly two years ago, Tom’s affair with Vanderpump Rules castmate Rachel Leviss was revealed. Some fans continue to hate him to this day. In the current season of The Traitors, Tom helped the group win money by singing nursery rhymes backward. Despite his efforts, Brittany Haynes and other costars roasted him in their confessionals, insinuating he’s a bad singer.
“The whole challenge is to listen to these dolls that sing a nursery rhyme backward, and everyone in their confessionals … [is] making fun of him,” said Lala on an Amazon Live via @vanderpodrecaps on Instagram. “Because let’s be honest, at this point in time, Tom Sandoval still cannot win.”
“Like we all still remember what went down. He’s not a liked person no matter what comes out of his mouth,” said Lala. “You can still draw the parallel to, ‘You’re that guy who cheated.’”
Specifically, Lala called out Brittany for making it seem like the cast had no idea what Tom was doing in the challenge.
“And they’re clowning on him,” she went on. “But me as a viewer, I was like, well he’s doing the challenge. And the only reason why they got all the money that they got was because he literally sat outside checking his pitch.”
“It’s not like Tom Sandoval is, you know, John Legend by any means, but he did get the job done,” she continued. “I think they won like $20,000 from that challenge.”
In past episodes of The Traitors, Chrishell Stause went hard against Tom over his past affair (when he was in a relationship with her friend Ariana Madix). One castmate suggested that Chrishell’s vendetta against Tom prevented her from actually rooting out traitors. The actor was eliminated from the game in episode eight.
