Married At First Sight 2025 is set to feature it’s wildest cast to date when it premieres later this month.
Daily Mail Australia has obtained a teaser introducing Ryan Donnelly, the season’s most fearless participant who proudly proclaims his ‘warrior’s mentality.’
In the latest trailer, Ryan is introduced as a man with unwavering confidence and a larger-than-life presence.
The groom cuts a striking figure in a crisp white tuxedo and black bow tie, adjusting his blazer in front of a mirror as he prepares to take on the social experiment.
‘When I first walk into a room, my presence is something special,’ Ryan says with conviction.
‘Where have all the warriors gone? Where have all the philosophers gone? I have a warrior’s mentality.’
‘I’ve confronted a lot of things which people are deathly afraid of, you know? I’m a risk taker, I’m a confronter. I’m also quite strong,’ he continues with confidence.
‘If you’re in danger in a situation like a car accident, or if you’re hanging over the edge of a cliff, I can pick you up.’
Switching to a more casual look in a burgundy knit sweater during his confessional, Ryan maintains his intense aura, making it clear he isn’t here to hold back.
The voiceover teases what viewers can expect, posing the tantalising question: ‘Who will be the bride for Ryan? As special as him?’
Ryan’s bold declaration continues to build anticipation as he confidently states, ‘Nerves? You’ve got no use for them. I only fear in this world of sharks. I don’t fear anything else.’
As previously reported by Daily Mail Australia, Ryan, and his partner Jacqui Burfoot are tipped to go down as the most polarising pair in the show’s history – eclipsing even the infamous Bronte and Harrison saga in 2023.
Sources close to the production have revealed that Jacqui, a 29-year-old self-proclaimed ‘tell-it-like-it-is’ entrepreneur, and Ryan, 37, an outspoken project manager, are ‘absolute bananas’ both on and off-screen.
Fans expecting another run-of-the-mill love story should brace themselves for fireworks, backstabbing, and the kind of chaos that will make past seasons look like a Disney fairytale.
‘Ryan is all about pro-masculinity – he champions men embracing their strength and individuality, but let’s be honest, viewers are going to be just as taken by his striking good looks,’ an insider spilled.
‘Meanwhile, Jacqui is set to steal the show in her own way. She’s unapologetically fierce, and women everywhere will feel empowered watching her stand up for what’s right. They’re a dynamic duo, and audiences won’t be able to look away.’
A well-placed source revealed, ‘Their journey on the show will make Bronte and Harrison seem like a happily-ever-after romance.
Every dinner party, every commitment ceremony, they’re either at each other’s throats or dragging the rest of the group into their mess.’
It’s not just their on-screen antics that have people talking.
Another insider revealed, ‘They both have this unpredictable energy. It’s hard to tell who’s worse.’
One minute Jacqui’s tearing Ryan apart for something petty, the next she’s on the couch crying and everyone is falling for her crocodile tears. It’s bananas – you won’t know whether to laugh, cry, or turn the TV off.’
The pair’s relentless drama hasn’t just affected their own relationship but has also driven a wedge through the group.
According to insiders, the other couples either avoid them entirely or get sucked into their disputes.
‘Their toxic chemistry divides the group. It’s exhausting for everyone involved,’ a source added.
‘They argue like it’s a sport, and the rest of the cast has to suffer through it. But you can’t look away – it’s trainwreck TV at its finest.’
Even the show’s experts – no strangers to volatile pairings – were reportedly blindsided by Jacqui and Ryan’s intensity.
One source hinted, ‘It’s clear they were matched to bring drama, but I don’t think anyone expected this level of chaos.
‘The experts are often left speechless, which is saying something.’
