Tamra Judge and Teddi Mellencamp addressed their past limo ride with James Kennedy and his girlfriend Ally Lewber, which occurred two years before his reported arrest for misdemeanor domestic violence. Teddi recalled that she and Tamra “saw something” that made them “very uncomfortable.”
According to the arrest record, the Vanderpump Rules alum was recently accused of picking up a woman – referred to as his girlfriend – and throwing her down on the ground. In the past, James’ exes Rachel Leviss and Kristen Doute have alluded to his alleged abuse, though many fans continued to support James as he led the charge against Tom Sandoval for cheating on his girlfriend Ariana Madix with Rachel.
In the past, Teddi alluded to a limousine ride with James and Ally as they headed to the TomTom bar following the MTV Movie & TV Awards in 2022. Teddi alleged that an argument between the couple got physical, forcing them to step out of the car.
On the December 17 episode of their Two Ts In A Pod podcast, Tamra asked if anyone was “shocked” about James’ recent arrest.
“We said this two years ago, that we saw something that made us very uncomfortable,” recalled Teddi.
“I didn’t know that so many people knew,” added Tamra, who claimed that multiple Bravolebs have reached out to her.
“We were just like in protection mode of [Ally] and trying to get them to stop,” said Teddi of the limo ride. “It’s heartbreaking … Ally denied it [after] we had seen it.”
Teddi suggested that viewers “ignored” Kristen and Rachel’s past claims, and they “let him be the voice of reason” on Pump Rules because he was “Team Ariana.”
“It’s because he was Team Ariana and everybody hated Tom Sandoval so much, and Raquel so much,” she said.
Tamra then reacted to the recent incident, noting that the police saw no injuries after 911 was called.
“Really? So you can’t see any physical marks, so nothing happened?” asked Tamra rhetorically. “I’m gonna say he’s done. He’s done when it comes to Bravo, TV career, all that.”
Earlier this year, after Teddi addressed the incident involving James and Ally on her podcast, Ally appeared on the Scheananigans podcast and denied any violence took place, citing the fact that she ‘wasn’t bleeding.’
“There was no physical altercation,” Ally stated back in February. “Yes, we were in the car together. I thought we were having fun. We were having fun. But then James and I did get into an argument, but there was no physical assault. I was not bleeding, and they didn’t have to get out of the car and separate us. So that didn’t happen.”
A few weeks before James’ arrest this month, Bravo announced that all cast members from Vanderpump Rules were fired. They reportedly will replace them with current servers from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurant.
