MARRIED At First Sight UK’s Adam Nightingale has shared a defiant post amid rumours he ‘wife-swapped’ and is now dating co-star Amy Kenyon.

Over the course of the past week, Adam and Amy have appeared inseparable at a string of events, and are even sharing a hotel room.

But after their latest night out, Adam shared a photo from their night to clear up any speculation – while taking a swipe at his ex, Polly Sellman, in the process.

He wrote: “Appreciation post. People can think what they want.. but you can have a friend of the opposite sex. I now have a few…”

“Me and Amy have always had each others back since the show aired.. and always checked in on each other when times were hard, and when the hate got bad.. and we made sure everything was okay..,” he explained.

“A loyal friend is worth a lot more than fake friends.. So keep your loyal ones close… you guys know who you are and I appreciate you all dearly.”

But to add fuel to the fire, he added: “Ps. If we was together we would say.. it’s been over 8 months since we got ‘divorced’ And we got nothing to hide, so calm down.”

Responding to the message, Amy commented: “So much love, thanks for always being there. Appreciate you.”

The duo met on this year’s Married At First Sight, but were paired up with separate people to get married without ever seeing or speaking to each other.

Adam was paired up with Polly, but made it clear from the outset he didn’t find her sexually attractive, with their efforts to make their marriage work getting more and more volatile.

Eventually it ended in the series finale, with Adam making crude remarks about their sex life at a dinner party with the rest of the couples, prompting Polly to throw a glass of red wine over him and storming out.

Amy was a later addition to the group and was partnered with Luke Debono, but the Maltese groom quickly made her uncomfortable with a string of sexually inappropriate comments.

While Polly and Amy were close during filming of the series, they’ve since fallen out, with Polly confirming they no longer talk to each other.

Over the past few weeks, Adam branded Amy “attractive” and “the female version of me”, sending MAFS viewers into a frenzy.

They later attended the Lemon Fill party in Manchester together, and shared a flirty TikTok where she was seen feeding him before admitting they spent the night at the Leonardo Hotel together – sharing a room but sleeping separately.
