Anna Delvey and her ankle monitor have returned to the ballroom!
After being the first one eliminated on Dancing with the Stars season 33, convicted con artist Delvey, 33, appeared at the Nov. 26 finale with her partner Ezra Sosa.
The pair danced alongside Tori Spelling and Pasha Pashkov to the song “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston — poking fun at Delvey’s exit comment when she was eliminated that she was taking away “nothing” from her time on the show.
Delvey was carried onto the stage as she mouthed the words to the famous song before their dance quickly came to an end.
“You know, I’ve got nothing,” host Julianne Hough later joked.
Sosa, 24, posted a video on TikTok on Monday, Nov. 25, from his rehearsal with Delvey, in which he mouthed to her, “How many people do you know that are currently in the prison system?”
“Um, I’m pretty sure just two,” Delvey mouthed while jokingly flipping him off with both hands.
Delvey competed with an ankle bracelet as she remains under house arrest as a dispute about her deportation remains ongoing. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement granted Delvey, whose real name is real name Anna Sorokin, special permission to compete on DWTS ahead of the season premiere in September.
However, Delvey and Sosa ended up being the first couple eliminated from season 33. When host Julianne Hough asked Delvey what she learned from competing on DWTS, Delvey famously replied, “Nothing.”
Delvey explained to Spelling on the Sept. 28 episode of her podcast misSPELLING that she responded that way, “Because that was the truth.”
“You guys told me what I’m supposed to do. I tried to do it and then I still was rejected. And I’m taking away nothing,” Delvey told Spelling, 51. “This is what I’m taking away from it, because your advice was worthless.”
Delvey doubled down on her original reply.
“I really did not take away much from this experience,” she continued on misSPELLING. “I think I had to be on the defensive, especially after all the backlash that I received being cast on the show, even though the producers [tried] to defend me. And I think everyone on the cast was generally very nice to me. But in the end, I don’t know.”
Sosa seemed surprised by Delevy’s answer when it aired, but he later admitted to PEOPLE that he could tell she was “livid.”
“So when we’re walking right next to Julianne, she asked her that question, I was — I’m not going to lie — I was a little nervous what she was going to say,” he recalled. “But with what she said, I think it was very iconic.”
The professional dancer loved the response so much that he ended up getting the word “nothing” tattooed on his upper back above the number 33. “I love this cast sm,” Sosa captioned an Oct. 5 TikTok video showing off the new ink.
Despite her negative experience on the show, Delvey stayed in touch with Sosa following their Sept. 24 elimination.
“We’re texting every day,” he told PEOPLE at the DirecTV Gets Real party hosted by DirecTV, PEOPLE and Entertainment Weekly on Sept. 26. “Yes, we are. She’s like, ‘You have to come to New York!’ And I was like, ‘Do you miss me?’ She goes, ‘Sure.’ But every single time she says ‘sure’ it means ‘yes.’ Like, I kind of have her down a little bit.”
The Dancing with the Stars season 33 finale is airing Tuesday, Nov, 26, until 11 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+.
