Kieran Chapman took a swipe at his Married At First Sight co-star on Wednesday as he and Kristina Goodsell revealed how intense filming the show was.
The mechanic, 28, and his bride Kristina, 31, joined Capital Radio’s host Aimee Vivian to discuss the Channel 4 programme’s gruelling film schedule.
However, during the show, Kieran also revealed that the person he least got on with was Alex Henry, 28.
Discussing how he couldn’t reason with his co-star, Kieran said: ‘I would say one of the guys that I least got on with was Alex.
‘A lot of masculine energy and I just cannot reason with him. He doesn’t really want to listen to any advice, and I tried my best to speak to him but…’
The reality TV star and Kristina also shared that filming involved ‘very long days’ and they were ‘lucky’ to ‘get a day off every week’.
When asked what filming the show was like during the day, Kieran confessed that the commitment ceremonies took a long time to film.
He said: ‘So, you’re lucky if you get a day off every week. Commitment ceremonies are long days.’
Kristina agreed and chimed in with: ‘Yep, they were long days. Everybody had a lot to unpack.’
Meanwhile, Kieran added: ‘Dinner parties are really long days, it’s a lot of filming.’
Kristina also discussed the pressures of filming and how difficult it can be to open up about your life.
She added: ‘It is a lot of filming whilst just completely opening up your life you know in front of the cameras. You know it is a lot of pressure.’
‘It is hard enough to do without the cameras. The cameras are in your face, and you are sitting there balling it’s like ‘get yourself together’ but then that’s you being real so like don’t be anyone you’re not.’
Kieran also revealed to host Aimee that there is a Married At First Sight Whatsapp group chat since the season wrapped, however, he hinted that not everyone is part of it.
When asked whether everyone is in the group chat, Kieran said: ‘I’m not confirming or denying…’
The couple also confessed how their co-stars wished they had Kieran and Kristina’s connection.
When asked if they think their co-stars look at them with envy, Kristina said: ‘No, I wouldn’t say envy’ while Kieran added: ‘Not envy, but maybe they just wish they had what we had at that time.’
Kristina added: ‘Yeah and we did have that said to us, didn’t we? We did have somebody say ‘you know I would really like Kieran and Kristina’s connection.”
