Days after filing for divorce from Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright is moving forward with a night out with pals.

The reality star, 35, who became emotional while reuniting with her estranged husband, 45, during a shoot for their TV show The Valley on Friday, flashed a huge smile as she exited Craig’s restaurant.

The Kentucky native donned a curve clinging cornflower blue dress with green trim and a cutout below the bust. She stepped out in matching high heel sandals.

The former Vanderpump Rules star’s makeup looked natural with a soft pink lip. Her long, blonde hair was styled in loose layers.

The former waitress carried a small Louis Vuitton purse.

A photo shared in Cartwright’s Instagram Stories reveled she spent the evening wining and dining with The Valley co-star Janet Caperna, 34, and This Side of the Hill podcast host Jared Lipscomb.

Caperna looked relaxed in a navy blazer and a low-cut camisole.

Lipscomb looked dapper in a navy and white striped button down shirt.

As she exited the restaurant, reporters asked if the ‘divorce was real’ and Cartwright said she decided to end the marriage because she had ‘had enough. I had to make sure it was right. We have a child together.’

‘Hopefully, we can co-parent good. That’s the goal right now.’

She declined to say whether she was ready to date again.

Cartwright and her soon-to-be ex have been co-hosting their own When Reality Hits podcast, but with the change in marital status, changes are coming to the show as well.

The pair will have equal custody of the podcast. ‘Moving forward, Jax and I will be doing the podcast separately,’ she told the audience on the Friday, August 30 episode while addressing her decision to file for divorce.

‘Thank you all for the support. I love you very much and I hope you enjoy an episode that has some of our best memories together from the past. Just hang in there with me.’

The former couple married in 2019 and are parents to a son, Cruz, three. Cartwright has asked for primary legal and physical custody of the boy.

Neither she nor Taylor has spoken publicly about their split, as those details will be included in season two of The Valley, which is currently in production.

‘You will see how everything plays out once the show airs, but I will say this: this season has been the most difficult season I have ever had to film,’ Cartwright said. ‘I never imagined I’d go through something so personal and painful while having the world watch.’
