James Kennedy reacted to a rumor that next season of Vanderpump Rules will be a “final farewell” to the cast before a “total reboot” made up of current servers from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants. Around the same time, fans praised James for his eerie prediction about Jax Taylor’s marriage to Brittany Cartwright in a resurfaced clip from a past season.
News recently broke that Brittany filed for divorce from Jax after several months of separation. Their marital struggles were discussed on the first season of the Bravo spinoff, The Valley, though Jax said at the time that he doesn’t believe in divorce.
Fan account @_surrules shared a recent rumor about the fate of Pump Rules.
“#VanderpumpRules to allegedly end with this next season which films in October,” wrote the account, via @queensofbravo on Instagram. “After a final farewell, the show will go back into the direction of filming SURvers from Lisa Vanderpump’s restaurants as a total reboot.”
James then wrote in the comments: “Y’all think you have it all figured out huh 😂.”

Meanwhile, fans are praising James for a resurfaced clip of him predicting the demise of Jax and Brittany’s marriage.
“It’s like the Devil got what he wanted,” said James in a past season, addressing Jax’s engagement to Brittany. “A 40-year-old man, old man Jax is getting f**king married!”
“I’m really happy for Brittany,” he went on, via @adrianaserret on TikTok. “I mean, I think Jax is going to be a great first husband for her.”
