Days of our Lives spoilers for Friday, August 16, kick-off Gabi’s plot against Kristen. But, being Gabi, she won’t be obvious about it, especially not with Kristen.
Know Thy Enemy
Gabi (Cherie Jimenez — did you know this?) has a lot of reasons to be mad at Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). There are professional reasons. And there are personal reasons. Kristen took DiMera Enterprises away from Stefan (Brandon Barash).
And Kristen knows that Stefan slept with Ava (Tamara Braun). Which means Kristen needs to pay. And Gabi is the one who’s going to make sure it happens. Meanwhile, Stefan is dealing with Chad (Billy Flynn), who also has some choice things to say to him. It’s going to be a tough day for this family!
Mommy’s Home
Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) gave Jane Doe (AnnaLynne McCord — here’s what you need to know) her DNA results. The tests proved that she is Jack’s (Matthew Ashford) daughter—an interesting choice of words. Once upon a time, Jack thought he only had one daughter: Abigail. But then we met Gwen (Emily O’Brien). In case we’ve forgotten, in the very same episode, Leo (Greg Rikaart) called Gwen to do his traditional self-centered babbling bit.
But we found the timing interesting. Jane is deemed Jack’s daughter at the same time as we’re reminded that Jack has more than one—even if he didn’t know about her for decades. So maybe Jane is Jack’s daughter. But that doesn’t necessarily make her Abigail. It’s a good thing Jennifer (Cady McClain) is coming to town. And hopefully asking the same questions we are. (Wouldn’t it have made more sense to test Jane’s DNA against Thomas or Charlotte since she is definitely their mother and no one else could be?)
Loose Lips Sink Ships
Ava doesn’t yet know that Connie (Julie Dove) blabbed to Gabi about Stefan and Ava’s… um…slip up. But she already has suspicions about Gabi’s new assistant, just in time for Melinda (Tina Huang) to add more fuel to that fire.
