Aesha Scott, one of the most beloved chief stews across the Below Deck franchise, recently revealed whether she’s decided to quit Below Deck Mediterranean after such an awful season with her castmate’s allegedly fake performances. Aesha originally joined the cast of Below Deck Med season 4 when she was a second stew under Hannah Ferrier, who was fired by Captain Sandy Yawn. Aesha quickly gained fan-favorite status in the Below Deck franchise with her quick wit, subtle sass, and genuinely kind nature, and she was also the Chief Stew on Below Deck Down Under.
“In terms of my career, I want to do Below Deck for a few more years, and then, ideally, I’d love to be a TV presenter.”
Concerns have been growing across the Bravo Universe that Aesha may be considering quitting Below Deck Med due to recent poor work behavior that her fellow crewmates allegedly faking their storylines. In an interview posted on Pedestrian, Aesha explained, “What I’ve realized is I am in this really exciting time of my career where everything’s blowing up and growing really quickly.”
Aesha continued, “I’ve got this incredible opportunity to be on a reality show that is watched by millions of people globally.” Aesha also recently launched an alcohol coconut water brand called Drop as a backup plan. Despite that, she’s sticking around on Below Deck, at least for now.

Aesha Scott Has More Than One Backup Plan Up Her Sleeve
While Aesha plans to continue filming Below Deck Med for as long as she is able to, Aesha has wisely chosen a few other paths she could venture down if anything happened to her position on Bravo. When Aesha was asked about what she wanted to do after Below Deck, Aesha happily explained, “In terms of my career, I want to do Below Deck for a few more years, and then ideally, I’d love to be a TV presenter.” For those who have watched Aesha over the years, this seems like a great fit for her.
On Below Deck Med, Aesha has proven she can handle conflict with people and how to get them to cooperate with her, making her a great potential host. The type of show Aesha would want to host is not surprising, as Aesha explained, “I really want to do things like The Amazing Race or Survivor or some sort of fun show that gets you to travel the world,” which sounds a lot like the show she is currently starring on. Aesha has proven time and again that she is really an adventurer at heart who wants to travel the world.
While Aesha would love nothing more than to travel the world and host exciting reality shows, she is also thinking about how to fund these adventures. Aside from her role as Below Deck Med season 9 Chief Stew, Aesha is also a creator of alcoholic coconut water called Drop. She clarified that this new beverage is a completely separate part of her life and that Below Deck fans will not see it being sold at BravoCon or see it aboard the yachts on Below Deck Med due to not wanting Bravo to collect her profits.
It is true that Below Deck Med season 9 has been a disappointing and dangerous season, from deadly food mistakes by the chef to relationship drama among the crew. However, this is not Aesha’s first rodeo, and she knows that even though it was a bad season and her castmates may have deeply disappointed her, there is always another season to look forward to. Aesha is a smart, clever woman who knows that it is important to keep her eggs in separate baskets and that, if one of her opportunities disappears, she has plenty more to replace it.
Below Deck Mediterranean airs Mondays at 9 p.m. EDT on Bravo and is available to stream the following day on Peacock.
