Since her not-so-happy ending after Married at First Sight season 14, Noi Phommasak has a lot of life updates. Noi married Steve Moy in Married at First Sight season 14 which took place in Boston, Massachusetts. Laos-born Noi presented herself as very timid, but it was also clear that she had an attitude. She also was honest about her desire to have three children. In season 14, Noi and Steve were joined by four other couples. Mark Maher and Lindsey Georgoulis, Jasmina Outar and Michael Morency, Olajuwon Dickerson and Katina Goode, and Alyssa Ellman and Chris Collette.
Alyssa and Chris were the first to divorce after a marriage of only 12 days. Come Decision Day, the remaining four couples actually all said yes to each other despite each of them having serious issues. However, come the Reunion, it was revealed that Mark and Lindsey broke up shortly after Decision Day, as did Jasmina and Michael. Olajuwon and Katina are the only couple from MAFS season 14 who are still together, but they’ve broken up and gotten back together at least twice publicly. Steve and Noi seemed like a good match, but that is just another thing the experts got wrong when matchmaking.
Noi & Steve’s Married At First Sight Journey
Noi Was Not All In
When Noi and Steve met at the altar as strangers in Married at First Sight season 14, they seemed smitten with each other. Their naturally more reserved personalties clicked and their connection grew. While the honeymoon was dramatic for several of the couples, Noi and Steve’s union seemed like it was on an upward trajectory. It was when they moved into the living together portion of the eight-week-long experience that they encountered their issues.
While Steve and Noi grew closer (via Lifetime) and consummated their marriage, it became apparent that Noi was too immature for Steve. In the infamous Noodle-Gate incident, Steve saw that noodles Noi was making for them was boiling over, so he stepped in to turn the heat down, which greatly annoyed Noi. She was so upset by Steve’s intervention in her cooking that she took her dog, left the apartment, and gave Steve the silent treatment.
Moreover, Noi posted negative things aimed at Steve on social media and told him they were not about him.
Steve was tired of Noi’s immature actions, but stuck it out and the pair said yes on Decision Day. The duo were still on shaky ground by the Reunion, but were still together. They divorced in July 2022, six months after their season aired, and it was a messy breakup mostly due to Noi’s social media blasts and Steve’s tasteful responses.
“Divorce feels good,” Noi remarked on Instagram.
Noi Is Now A Content Creator
She Is Very Active On Social Media
Noi has ran with her reality TV fame and has gone on to become a content creator/social media influencer online. Noi has 56,700 followers on Instagram where she does brand collabs and promotions on her verified account. Most of her content is centered around fashion and travel tips. She also has a series of posts about her skincare.
Noi Has A New Man In Her Life
Noi Is No Longer Single
Since Married at First Sight season 14 aired, Noi has had a quiet love life. That was until July 2024, when she debuted what seems to be her new boyfriend. The pair attended a wedding together and Noi posted another picture of them laughing together with a flirtatious caption. She did not tag the man in the photo, so he is still somewhat of a mystery man.
Are Noi & Steve Friends?
A Lot Went Down Between Them
Noi and Steve had an ugly breakup that no doubt caused resentment between them. As of now, Married at First Sight season 14 couple Noi and Steve don’t follow each other on Instagram. Steve has moved on into a relationship with a MAFS season 10 alum, and has saw a lot of personal and professional success. For her part, Noi has moved past her time on Married at First Sight and seems to be capitalizing on her feature.
