Gina Micheletti was a particpant in Married at First Sight season 16, and it’s time for an update on the beautiful entrepreneur. Gina got married to Clint Webb in the Nashville, Tennessee, season of the Lifetime show. Gina and Clint were joined by four other couples during that season: Nicole Lillenthal and Christopher Thielk, Kirsten Grimes and Shaquille Dillon, Jasmine Secrest and Airris Williams, and Mackinley “Mack” Gilbert and Domynique Kloss. Mack and Domynique were the first couple to divorce. They split right after the honeymoon after Domynique refused to give Mack a chance at showing her he was adventurous.
Jasmine and Airris said no to each other on Decision Day, and Shaquille said no to Kirsten even though she said yes. Nicole and Chris were the only couple that were smitten with each other, and they said yes to each other and are still happily married today. Gina and Clint also both said no come Decision Day. Married at First Sight season 16 is largely seen as a failure. While it did produce one lasting couple, it was clear that the matchmaking done by the experts was not thorough and that the experts’ guidance was lackluster.
Gina & Clint’s Married At First Sight Journey
They Did Not Have A Good Run
On their wedding day, Gina and Clint seemed to have good bantering chemistry and appeared to be enticed by one another. They quickly saw commonalities in their entrepreneurial spirits and respected each other’s hustles. However, everything fell apart during the honeymoon when Gina admitted that she didn’t feel “overwhelming physical chemistry” with Clint.
Gina said the physical attraction could grow over time and Clint agreed, but Gina seemed to hurt Clint with her words. In another exchange, Gina said she didn’t vibe with “gingery features” (via Lifetime.) Gina’s harsh critique caused Clint to later say to Gina that his usual type had a more “slender” build than her. There was no coming back after that. Gina did not want to move in with Clint but eventually moved into the second bedroom, and that’s where she stayed.
Gina and Clint never developed a closeness or even that close of a friendship. Furthermore, Clint really liked Gina’s dog Hank and wanted him for his own. Gina and Clint stuck it out to Decision Day, but they should not have after it was clear neither were trying. In the “Where Are They Now?” episode of Married at First Sight season 16, Clint actually shared a kiss with Domynique, which was distasteful, but the pair did not seem to continue a romance past that.
Gina Is Still A Passionate Business Owner
Gina Is An Admitted Workaholic
Gina introduced herself as a workaholic hair salon business owner. She was working on opening her second location and was always work-oriented. Gina is still that way, as she has showcased her commitment to her brand and growing her business.
Gina now has an Instagram following of 39,600 people which has been sure to help boost her clientele and reach.
Gina Started A Podcast With MAFS Season 16 Alums
She’s Made Lifelong Friends
Gina has expanded her entrepreneurial repertoire to include podcast host alongside MAFS season 16’s Nicole and Kirsten. The trio has a weekly podcast, D-List Diaries, where the girls dish on what life is like post-reality TV fame. They host guests, like Nicole’s husband Chris, with the aim to “blend of insider info and entertainment.” Gina’s foray into podcasting not only denotes her business-minded spirit but also highlights her close friendships with her cast mates.
What Is Gina’s Relationship Status?
& Is She Friends Or More With Clint?
Since Married at First Sight season 16, Gina has not debuted any new relationships other than the podcast trio relationship with her cast mates. If Gina is dating, she is keeping that part of her life private. The only man publicly in her life seems to be her beloved dog, Hank. Gina and Clint were a big part of Married at First Sight season 16’s entertainment value, but they don’t seem to be a part of each other’s lives at all anymore. They do follow each other on Instagram, but that seems to be the extent of things.
