Married At First Sight’s Martha Kalifatidis has opened up about her recent breast explant surgery, while showing off the incredible results.
The mum-of-one, 36, this week revealed she had her breast implants removed, and that after 15 years of having them in, she did have one regret.
In a video taken one day after her surgery, Martha revealed she was on the road to recovery. She also shared the surprising results.
“I had my breast implants removed yesterday,” she began in a lengthy TikTok clip.
Martha revealed the two-and-half hour procedure cost roughly $15,000, and with no external stitches, admitted she’s feeling “really good”.
“I have no pain – there is literally no pain whatsoever, it’s blown my mind. I would have done this so much sooner if I had known how easy it is,” she said.
In fact, the star had a message for anyone thinking about breast augmentation and revealed her one regret.
“I wish I had done this years ago. If you are thinking about getting breast implants think long and hard about it,” she said. “If you’re young, just wait until you’re 25 and if you still want to do it at 25, go and do it.
“I wish I never got mine in – so food for thought.”
In the video, Martha explained why now, after 15 years, she had her implants removed – and it comes with perfect timing as she thinks about the possibility of more kids.
“I wanted to have my implants removed for a few years now, probably three years ago just before I got pregnant,” she began.
Martha welcomed a baby boy, Lucius, 1, with fiancé Michael Brunelli in February 2023.
“I had a feeling that I just wanted them out,” she continued. “Around three years ago I just became so aware of them inside me.”
Martha explains in detail in the video below:
“I ended up falling pregnant so I couldn’t get them out then,” explained Martha who thought the timing now still wasn’t perfect.
“Even though I still want to have kids, I just wanted them out.”
But after speaking with her surgeon, the star revealed more kids on the cards could be sooner than she thought.
“He said you can have kids within two months of getting the out, it’s fine, you can fall pregnant,” she said.
Martha mentioned that if she were to get pregnant, her breast will stretch, but she’s not phased.
“Honestly at this stage in my life I don’t give up a f–k about having the perkiest boobs in town. I’m 36, I don’t care,” she smiled.
The star then shared the ‘after’ results of the procedure.
“I’m pretty flat, I feel really flat,” she laughed. “You can tell that I definitely have a lot smaller bust…”

Despite feeling “crazy bloated and puffy”, Martha admitted she feels the same.
“I’m just healing still, but once the healing happens I will be able to tell you guys more.”
“Considering I had surgery yesterday, I can’t complain,” she smiled.
