According to spoilers for Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Paul Telfer’s character Xander Cook will consider his past and eventually open up to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey).
Sarah is going to question Xander on June 26 in an attempt to persuade him to discuss his relationship with Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) prior to his death.
Fans of Days will remember that the relationship was very acrimonious at times.
Due in part to his lengthy criminal record and his numerous instances of terrible behavior throughout the years, Xander wasn’t truly treated like a respectable member of the Kiriakis family.
Although Xander eventually turned his life around, he’ll still regret the emotional distance he felt with Victor and will hate that he can’t fix that now.
Of course, there’s another layer to all this that Xander doesn’t realize.
Victor obviously wanted to make things right as well since he left Xander half his fortune in his will.
Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) is to blame for deceiving Xander about that, but she’s not the one Xander will be feuding with in DOOL’s June 27 episode.
Days spoilers say it’ll be Nicole DiMera (Arianne Zucker) who Xander goes up against instead, but why exactly will they be fighting?
It’s no secret that Xander isn’t Nicole’s favorite person.
Xander nearly caused Nicole’s grim fate on more than one occasion – not to mention he helped blow up her marriage to Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan).
This could bring a chance to rehash some of Xander’s previous transgressions – like the time he held Nicole in a cage back in Greece or tried to burn her up in a furnace with Eric before that.
That said, there’ll have to be a new reason for Nicole and Xander to face off.
It could be as simple as a news story in The Spectator if Nicole manages to publish something that Xander disapproves of behind his back.
It’s easy to imagine Nicole offering up some article that paints Xander in a poor light.
Nicole may, for instance, give the impression that Xander got away with committing a different crime throughout the whole Konstantin Meleounis (John Kapelos) situation.
Whatever the case, we’ll be providing you with additional Days predictions as Xander and Nicole draw closer to their big showdown.
According to teasers for Days of Our Lives, Nicole and Xander will be in some difficult sequences, so stay tuned for updates on all the drama.
