Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Victor Made A Critical Mistake With Sally

Y&R spoilers tease that Victor likes to think he always has everything under control. But what if we’ve just seen him make a critical mistake he wasn’t even aware of? One which might continue to echo on for literally generations to come?

Y&R Spoilers Speculation: Let’s Make a Deal

Victor (Eric Braeden) came to Sally (Courtney Hope) with a proposal: I will set you up in the business of your choice at the location of your choice. As long as it’s not in Genoa City. And as long as you leave your baby girl behind. With me, Victor. The only reason Victor thought Sally would jump at such an offer is that Jill (Jess Walton), the person Sally and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) were counting on making their professional dreams come true, had abruptly withdrawn from their business venture.

Y&R: Behind the Scenes

And what if Jill only did that, at Victor’s urging? After all, Victor urged Devon (Bryton James) not to accept Tucker’s (Trevor St. John) offer to run McCall because Victor wanted that company for Adam (Mark Grossman). Victor loves to urge people to make decisions that he claims would be in their best interests when they are really in Victor’s. So Victor got Jill to dump Sally. But it didn’t work out the way he planned.

Y&R Spoilers: Side Quest

Sally turned down Victor’s offer. And his treatment of her prompted Adam to offer Sally a job with him, instead. Sure, she turned it down for now. But if she eventually takes it, she will be even more ensconced in the Newmans’ lives. Which is the exact opposite of what Victor wanted.

Did the player get outplayed? Or was this all part of Victor’s machinations? He wanted Adam to accept the job at McCall’s. Which Adam did. So he could hire Sally. Oh, Victor, you are so clever! Playing both sides so that, no matter who lost, you’ll still come out a winner.
