Married At First Sight bride Jules Robinson has shared some exciting family news ahead of welcoming her second child with husband Cameron Merchant.
The salon owner and shapewear entrepreneur, 42, exclusively spoke to Daily Mail Australia about her pregnancy on Thursday just weeks ahead of her due date, and candidly revealed she is already planning for baby number three.
‘We want to have another baby,’ Jules enthused, adding: ‘Who knows? If think if there’s a will, there’s a way.’
‘Whatever that will be like, we will make it happen. I said that before a couple of years ago [before getting pregnant the second time].’
The flame-haired influencer, who recently released her first book titled Ask Jules, also shared the unique method she used to fall pregnant at age 41 after three years of trying.
Jules and Cameron were seriously considering IVF before she managed to conceive naturally – a feat she largely credits to Ayurvedic medicine.
Ayurveda is an ancient Indian wellbeing practice that claims to help patients achieve balance through food, herbs, meditation, yoga and detoxing.
‘I discovered Ayurvedic medicine about two years ago, and when I sat down with the specialist, it just became very clear that there was no way that my body was going to make a baby,’ Jules explained.
‘The pressure I was putting it under. You know, work, adrenaline, fight or flight. And I really had to tap into, like, to make a baby. It just it all made sense. It was like a penny drop that my body’s like, “We’re on fire. We’re not gonna give you a child right now. You need to chill out.”‘
Jules went on to reveal how she also took a meditation course, noting that ‘stress is not conducive to falling pregnant’.
‘It’s been a very busy five years, and I think if I kept on running how I was, I don’t think it would have happened,’ she said.
In Ask Jules, the author also recalls how she consulted a medium and underwent chakra healing, colour healing and energy treatments while attending a holistic women’s health retreat in Bali.
‘Stress is not conducive to falling pregnant. Instead I put my energy into manifesting. I visualised myself being pregnant, putting on my maternity clothes and leaning into feminine styles,’ Jules writes.
Jules said she ‘never lost faith’ after so years of trying for a baby, and had learned the importance of slowing down and focussing on her own needs during the process.
‘It’s really important message that as women we do need to take care of ourselves, you know?’ Jules told Daily Mail Australia.
‘It’s just been a very big part of my life for the last 12 months. Like, putting my oxygen mask on first before someone else. When you’re an entrepreneur and you’re busy, you’re doing a million things, and you’re a mum, it’s very easy to not put yourself first.’
Jules and Cameron fell in love in front of the cameras during series six of MAFS in 2019 before getting married for real in November that year.
The pair welcomed son Oliver in September 2020 and in March Jules announced she was expecting her second child.
Last month, the reality star officially launched her debut book Ask Jules – in which she shares her personal experiences and expert tips on beauty, wellness and self-love.
