She was a wedding celebrant before she starred on Married At First Sight Australia and returned to the job following her stint as a reality TV star.
And now the exorbitant fee Lucina Light charges for her services has been revealed.
Breakfast show hosts Amanda Keller and Brendan ‘Jonesy’ Jones discovered how much Lucinda, 43, charged as they planned a wedding for two listeners.
After approaching Bachelor host Osher Günsberg, Real Housewives of Melbourne’s Gina Liano and TV host Greg Evans, they settled on Lucinda – that is until they found out the $8000 price tag.
‘What, is she Sinatra? Forget celebrities, I hate you. All celebrities,’ Jonesy declared jokingly.
In response, Amanda said: ‘I’m disappointed in society… I’m disappointed in the way it’s gone so far.’
Lucinda’s website boasts her work as a celebrant, accompanied by a notice stating that bookings are unavailable until 2025.
She emphasises her role in guiding couples through the entire process, offering a spectrum from ‘chilled’ to ‘completely over-the-top’.
Her pricing might be higher due to the package she offers, which includes her services as both an officiant and an MC for the evening festivities.
It comes after Lucinda recently opened up about her ‘colourful’ dating history.
She revealed she has had eight serious relationships – and not all of them were with men.
‘I’ve had a pretty colourful relationship background, eight relationships. I’ve been a serial monogamer, you could say. I’ve dated a woman,’ she told 9Entertainment.
‘I’ve given polyamorous relationships a go – I’ve tried it all.’
She added that her wealth of dating experience has helped her understand what she wants in a partner, and she is now looking to settle down.
‘I’ve been living in a place with a pretty small population pool, and when this flashed before my screen it was just a giant yes. I thought, “Why not?”‘ she said.
