Married At First Sight Australia bride Tori has endured a lot of backlash over her decision to stay with her husband Jack, and now she’s faced even more grillings – this time from Jack’s friends.
Tori Adams, 27, has defiantly stayed by her husband Jack Dunkley’s side, even when faced with repetitive questioning from the experts on her true feelings. However during ‘home stay’ week, Tori came face-to-face with one of Jack’s clients and friends, who didn’t hold back with her opinions.
Jack described Lizz as a “straight shooter” in last night’s episode (Wednesday 17 April) which came to be a huge understatement as she roasted Tori from start to finish during the awkward encounter.
Lizz bluntly dubbed Tori ‘basic’, leaving the bride visibly frustrated. The showdown didn’t stop there with Jack’s friend telling Tori she’s “not right” for Jack.
Lizz then claimed the lack of sex was a “major red flag” in the relationship, and then asked Tori if it bothered her that Jack has a lot of female friends. Tori then cooly replied no, as she has a lot of male friends herself, but Lizz didn’t like this answer.
“When I come across a girl that has a lot of guy friends it’s usually because they’re sleeping with all the boys,” Lizz said to a gobsmacked Tori, and things got even worse from there.
Lizz carried on the onslaught, admitting she “would not be friends with Tori” after hearing her vows at the wedding and continued: “Anyone that makes their coffee order their personality isn’t my kind of person… I got the impression you were basic.”
MAFS fans instantly noted that Jack didn’t step in to defend his wife, and it didn’t slip Tori’s mind either, as she revealed it’s made her question whether she’s wiling to upsticks for a life on the Gold Coast with Jack.
Fans were quick to comment on the painful encounter, with many holding the same theory about Lizz. One wrote: “She deffo fancies him and is super jealous! How on earth did Tori stay so calm,” and another echoed: “Jack’s friend just wants Jack for herself!”
“Jack’s client seems to want him for herself and she’s very rude. Why would Jack let a client speak to Tori like that?” a third viewer asked.
