MAFS Australia fans were stunned this week when Sara’s controversial behaviour came to light – and now the distraught bride is hinting at leaving the show.
Sara has been hit with a serious amount of grilling after confessing to meeting up with her ex behind her husband Tim’s back, and while her husband may be willing to put it behind him, fellow co-stars aren’t letting it go so easily.
Now the tearful bride has said she wants to leave the show due to her anxiety and says she “can’t take anymore” of the drama.
Sara faced fresh fury from groom Jayden when he interrogated her over her actions during Wednesday night’s episode. Still reeling from the MAFS expert’s scolding the night before, she couldn’t hide her upset. The bride claimed that no one is “willing to believe me” and is upset no one “understands” her and Tim’s relationship.
Sara admitted she “emotionally cheated” on Tim, to which he responded and said he needed to see a “big change” from her as he consoled his crying wife. Sara then said she was struggling with the backlash from the drama.
“I’ve had the worst anxiety ever and I feel like I’m not myself in here,” and said: “I can’t take the constant badgering and the constant down my throat. Anything I say is a lie and anything I say is not good enough.
“I can’t keep saying what I think or defending and being told it’s not good enough and that it’s a lie, I can’t do it.”
Sara then revealed she felt very alone and although she admitted it was because of what she did, she said no one “wants to believe me”. She told her husband in a tearful admission: “There’s a part of me that just wants to f*** everything off because I’m sick of it but obviously I want to stay for you.”
Fans took to X and shared their strong thoughts on the situation, as one viewer penned: “To be fair Sara you lied stupidly and a lot. So you can’t be that surprised you’re not immediately believed,” and a second wrote brutally: “I have to give credit to Sara. She can really fake sincerity well when she puts her mind to it!”
However, the couple seemed to have been getting on well since the news came out about the secret meet-up, as Sara set up a list of all the things she likes about Tim while they have a picnic in Wednesday’s episode (10 April). Praising her husband for his patience, she said: “You’re very understanding, very very patient, very emotionally intelligent.”
Tim appreciated this gesture, as he admitted: “I can tell she’s trying, she’s putting in the effort, It’s great to see.”
However, MAFS fans aren’t convinced. One viewer wrote: “Sara has him figured out. She now knows how to reel him in. He’s screwed unless he finds the way to break the cycle. She will do as she pleases and keep him on a leash,” and a second added: “Sara is crying because she cheated on Tim. And he IS RUBBING HER LEG?”
