From the moment Audra first showed up on The Young and the Restless, no man was safe. Noah thought he had the upper hand, talking about how she used him in London. But, within a few months, Noah had been shipped off back to Europe. And Audra was onto bigger and better things. Audra is a woman way out of most men’s leagues. Who could possibly manage not just to shrivel up and fade away in her presence? Y&R spoilers for next week show an intense moment between Audra and the man she just tossed, Tucker. Nate steps in. Will it finally be his turn?
Little Boy Lost
Kyle (Michael Mealor) thought he could not only handle Audra (Zulyeka Silver, who talked about Kyle recently) but also Kyle thought he could outsmart her. Aw…isn’t he cute? And dumb. And deluded. Kyle could barely follow what Audra was saying half of the time, much less think any steps ahead of her. He ran home so proudly to Daddy to tell Jack (Peter Bergman) what he’d done. Not surprisingly, Audra’s like of Kyle quickly faded.
Equal Partners
Nate (Sean Dominic) also thought he was at Audra’s level. At least Nate had pulled off a scheme or two in his day — without his Daddy’s help. And he and Audra had a genuine, fun chemistry. It might have been interesting to watch where his pairing could lead. But, for a while, at least, Nate wasn’t quite up to Audra’s speed, either. Of course, now that she’s tossed Tucker (Trevor St. John) due to Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) shenanigans, perhaps he has a fighting chance.
Lead and Learn
The only man who ever managed not to bore Audra was Tucker. The only man Audra couldn’t hoodwink was Tucker, which is, presumably, why Audra went back with Tucker…for real. Is he good for her? No. Will he dump her the instant he doesn’t need her anymore? Damn, skippy. Does he care about her? Presumably, not a whit. But Audra is young. She’ll wise up, and perhaps she already has. Who knows? Maybe then, she’ll be able to lead Tucker to his downfall. Perhaps it’s all starting next week, and Nate will help her.
