After Kyle Richards seemingly suggested in the season finale that her husband Mauricio Umansky cheated, a resurfaced interview showed her doubling down on a claim that spouses can get one “free pass,” but they shouldn’t tell because it would “ruin” the “relationship.”

Throughout season 13 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Kyle tiptoed around her marriage difficulties. But in the final episode, she admitted they separated, and she hinted that Mauricio did something to break her trust.

In a 2012 interview for Good Morning America, the host asked Kyle about a controversial section of her book, “Life Is Not a Reality Show: Keeping It Real with the Housewife Who Does It All.”

“You said, ‘If you cheat on your spouse once, do not tell. That you get a free pass,” said the host in a clip shared by @byewighellodrama on Instagram.

Kyle answered that “somebody [she] knows” made “one mistake.”

“I personally think you should deal with it with yourself and with God, and not go and say, ‘Honey look what I did,’” said Kyle. “Because I knew this would ruin their relationship and their life. So I said, ‘It did not happen.’”

She claimed that the mysterious couple is still “happy and together … going strong.”

But in the past interview, Kyle insisted it had nothing to do with herself, and she then pointed out Mauricio, who was sitting in the audience.

“My husband’s over there sweating bullets,” she said.

Fans then reacted in the comments.

“I do not even remember this interview. But it says [a] lot,” wrote @bravosnarkside.

“Well this aged well,” wrote another user sarcastically.

“Please don’t include God,” asked a different fan.

“Receipts. Timeline. Screenshots. 👏🏼,” added another viewer.
