Married At First Sight couple Cameron Frazer and Clare Kerr’s current relationship status is making season 17 fans curious. Quadruplet and therapist Claire is a family-oriented, independent woman who wanted a partner who’d understand her need for “me” time. Claire yearned for an equal partnership with her future husband and was paired with New Zealand native and entrepreneur Cameron. He had been single since his last relationship ended a year ago and was ready to settle down if he met the right partner. Cameron and Claire were hopeful in their marriage experiment and floored viewers with their chemistry at the wedding.
However, the honeymoon revealed the cracks in Cameron and Clare’s marriage as they began realizing they were incompatible when it came to agreeing on things such as raising kids, seeking therapy, religion, and intimacy. Cameron and Clare made the mutual decision to move on and go their separate ways by the end of Married At First Sight season 17, episode 11. It had been just 31 days since Cameron and Clare had married.
Cameron & Clare’s Journey
Lifetime star Cameron had moved out of his shared apartment with Clare while they reunited at the Rouge Wine Bar in Greenwood Village a few days later to announce their divorce during a group dinner. Cameron didn’t wish to see Clare after the breakup. Her calls to him went unanswered, and he didn’t join the other cast members at the retreat. Cameron has been accused of reportedly cheating on Clare. Meanwhile, Cameron took a hiatus from filming MAFS to return in episode 18 and revealed he’d developed a heart condition called atrial flutter and said that his split with Clare probably “accelerated it.”
Cameron Would Say Yes To Clare
Brennan Shoykhet met with Cameron to talk about how he was doing amid his health issues and to talk about Clare. Cameron talked about him not being able to make it work and that he was feeling “quite a lot of emotional stress.” He said that he was struggling to breathe because he was in pain from trying to put a crumbling sand castle back together. Cameron admitted that the “hard thing” for him and Clare is his being confused by Clare saying how sad she is. Cameron cited an example of how he would say something about moving out and Clare would get “emotional.”
Cameron was left wondering if Clare was emotional because she didn’t want him to leave or because it was a “big moment.” Cameron then made a shocking declaration about Decision Day. Cameron revealed he was making sure he was trying to understand what Clare was trying to say. Cameron admitted that if Clare told him she wanted to stay together, he would stay together with her on Decision Day.
“ I’m not going to leave her out to dry. We’re doing this together, ” he adds with confidence. Brennan agrees that making Clare comfortable enough to express herself, so there’s no confusion “ will help the whole situation. ”
Are Cameron & Clare Still Together?
Cameron sees a chance at getting back together with Clare, but unfortunately for him, Clare is not on the same page. Clare appeared to have put Cameron into the friend zone as she told her mother, “I love him as a person, he is the greatest. … But I don’t believe that ‘husband and wife’ is the correct title for our relationship.” Cameron isn’t on social media. Clare has set her Instagram to private and doesn’t reveal much through her bio or profile picture. They had announced their decision to divorce at the one-month anniversary dinner and could have decided to go ahead with it.
Cameron’s health scare likely makes him reunite with his estranged wife. Couples have to wait eight weeks until they can make a definitive decision about their marriages. The three remaining Married At First Sight couples only have seven days to decide whether they will continue their journeys as married couples or get divorced. Decision Day will finally reveal Cameron and Clare’s current relationship status and put rumors to rest. There are still five episodes to go in the season, including the reunion, until Cameron and Clare confirm if they decide to get back together after the show ends.
