Love Island All Stars fans were left unimpressed after twins Jess and Eve Gale joined ‘sandwich man’ Joe Garratt as the show’s latest bombshell’s on Monday.

In the final moments of the latest episode the trio entered the villa with Champagne, leaving their fellow singletons stunned.

However viewers claimed the show was ‘scraping the bottom of the barrel’ with the latest arrivals and questioned if they could even be considered ‘All Stars’.

Twins Jess and Eve, 24, first appeared on the ITV2 show winter series back in 2020 where they fought for current islanders Callum’s affection, while sandwich aficionado Joe, 27, made his debut in 2019.

Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one fan fumed: ‘Joe the sandwich man at the twins, oh FFS these bombshells ain’t bombing’.

While a second asked: ‘Are the wins considered All Stars?’.

Another quipped: ‘I get that the real icons of the show are actually employed but wow these boring as twins from the deadest season ever is a new low’.

And: ‘Bombshells really?’.

Someone else commented: ‘The 3 bombshells aren’t bombshelling’.

A sixth said: ‘The sandwich man and the twins with new faces? oh we’re scraping the bottom of the barrel’.

While a seventh fumed: ‘Nobody cares about that peroxide sandwich boy’.

And another pleaded: ‘Oh no not the annoying ‘twins’ and sandwich man’.

Before someone else echoed: ‘The identical twin thing is weird and everyone hated Joe for being controlling his season… I literally ma only watching this season now in hopes Molly and Callum get back together’.

During his initial stint on the show Joe was seen vying for Lucie Donlan’s heart however soon caused shock over his treatment of the surfer.

While lobbying for her affections, the star came under fire on the outside, where he was accused of ‘manipulation and abuse’ – something he later denied.

At the time, he said: ‘I didn’t manipulate or abuse her. I am gutted that it has been perceived in that way because it wasn’t like that at all. I may have worded things wrong and the cameras are on you 24/7. I may have slipped up but I am only human.’

Joe’s series was the same that propelled Love Island Royalty Tommy Fury and Molly-Mae Hague to fame – with his Lucie love affair bang in the middle of their drama.

Sources previously stated: ‘Joe was a big part of his series, but his story was slightly dwarfed by the fact he was alongside such iconic characters as Molly-Mae and Maura [Higgins].

‘But since leaving the villa he’s really carved a niche doing content for brands and remained at the heart of the show – he’s dubbed the ‘social rep’ because he literally knows everyone.’
