Married at First Sight’s Michael is getting a second chance at love.

In PEOPLE’s exclusive sneak peek at this week’s episode of the Lifetime series, Dr. Pepper Schwartz, a sociologist on the show, asks Michael if he is open to taking “another chance” on love after he was left at the altar earlier this season.

“You know, you emotionally and mentally tune yourself for this,” Michael, 38, says of joining the social experiment. “And I discovered things about myself that I didn’t realize in the moment like I knew I was ready for marriage, but I didn’t know I was that ready. So to answer your question, I would 100% do this again.”

Dr. Pia Holec, the show’s psychologist and sex therapist, reassures him after his negative experience on the series, saying, “You’re gonna make someone extremely happy.”

Pastor Calvin Roberson then asks Michael what he is now looking for in a potential partner.

“I mean, of course, I would love an intelligent woman, someone that you know, is very witty and quick, and is very invested in themselves,” Michael replies. “And I think maybe what I didn’t articulate as well [is] how much I appreciate silliness, too. I know it doesn’t come out here as much but I’m a pretty silly person.”

“And I kind of love that levity of like, you can be that strong version of yourself in whatever form you need to be, but that you also have that latitude of like letting yourself be silly and goofy,” he adds. “But I would also reiterate that sweetness, like you might be a hard ass at work but there’s that sweet nature that really you foster inside of you.”

Roberson says that the trio of experts are “completely, absolutely, unequivocally convinced” that they chose “the right husband.” He tells Michael, “You are a king.”

“We think you have what it takes to create a relationship that has depth and fun in it,” Schwartz adds. “I really hope we could find the right person for you.”

“We’re going to put our nose to the grindstone to see what we can do,” Roberson concludes.

Earlier this season, Michael revealed to his MAFS costars that he had been left at the altar.

“You know, wedding day comes around and she comes down, she pauses for a moment and then essentially states that she doesn’t want to marry a stranger,” he explained to the other couples.

He added that his bride “left a note and that was our real, only contact.”
