Married At First Sight UK stars Georges Berthonneau and Peggy Lawrence said to be ‘very much’ together following rumours they had split.
The couple met on the latest series of the reality Channel 4 show and remained together since their nuptials.
Rumours began after Georges, 30, and Peggy, 32, spent New Year’s Day apart and it is unclear whether they rang in the New Year together.
On Monday, Georges appeared to be apart from his partner as he took part in the London New Year’s Day Parade.
He was joined by his pal Cameron Duffus, who appeared with him on MAFS, and his fellow participant Paul Liba.
The reality stars were among the guests onboard a bus hosted by DJ and Doctor Bodalia during the event.
The couple sparked concerns that they had split up as Peggy was not seen in any photos from the occasion.
A source confirmed to the Mirror that the couple are still together going into the New Year.
The source said: ‘Georges is still very much with Peggy and at the moment they are navigating the reality of a relationship outside of the show.
‘Georges spends as much time with Peggy as he can, whilst being sure to spend time with his friends and family. Georges is really excited about what 2024 holds for him and Peggy.’
Peggy previously admitted the ‘hardest part’ of their relationship is the long-distance due to the couple not living together as he is based in Surrey whilst she is in Essex.
On Tuesday, the couple teased they are releasing a vlog about ‘life after MAFS’ on their joint YouTube channel.
They both posted a teaser clip on their respective Instagram accounts, which read: ‘First of many videos due out tonight 19:00.’
It comes after Peggy revealed she quit her job after landing a five figure fashion deal.
The former IT professional has teamed up with brand Girl In The Mirror.
In an interview with The Sun, Peggy announced she has left her role as a technology risk partner for her ‘true passion.’
She explained: ‘I never expected to leave MAFS and get a five figure fashion deal, I thought the show would concentrate on me being an academic geek and not really showing my true passion.
‘I have quit my job, I have realised that life is too short to be in a job you don’t enjoy. I was good at my job but I didn’t enjoy it like I enjoy fashion.’
She added: ‘The job I had before was not sustainable, I was making myself ill from the stress of it, it was ridiculous hours, a high-pressured role, I was one of the few females.’
Last month, Peggy teased a thrilling career move after appearing on the Channel 4 dating show.
It appears the star is ready to move on from reality TV as the series draws to a close, as she teased an exciting new career move.
The reality favourite will join the West End cast of adult pantomime Jack And His Giant Bigstalk, playing the role of Fairy Barbie.
